Learning to crawl
I wanted to show you all how Sam is learning to crawl – a skill that is both terribly exciting and terribly….ummm terrifying. Right now he’s mastered the rotation (demonstrated in the video) as well as the roll. He’s working on the commando crawl and as John says, if he remembers to use both arms, he gets there (you can see him using his right arm and then realizing that moving his left also will help).
You can also see that he’s getting the “butt up” in the air motion that is critical for crawling. While he’s shown signs in the last 2 weeks or so, he’s definitely made significant progress in the last couple of days (including getting up on all 4s and rocking back and forth (on the floor and in his crib)).
