And not only that, he does it with a rattle in his right hand and a sock (of course! now you know why we think socks should come in 3s not pairs 🙂 in his left hand. Note: mom’s a bit anxious about this progress and dad’s supportive yet unflappable, a great combination :-).

Gotta love Sam’s persistence and determination — even after he slides down the stairs, he is right back in the game and climbing without missing a beat.

And I have to say that my very favorite part is that last look he gives the camera just as he reaches the top and crosses the finish line.

Oh, and we probably should’ve taken off his socks — but we didn’t think about it at the time (and I am impressed now, as I watch him on the video, at how well he was able to climb even with them on).
