Elmo
Sam started saying "Elmo" last week and I’m not too sure how I feel about it (not that it matters ;-). The funny thing is we rarely come in contact or even mention Elmo (I think that’s a bit purposeful on our part :-).
The most contact he has had is the Earth’s Best crackers that he eats (they are cut in 2 shapes: Elmo and Big Bird). Maybe it’s because we recently got an edition of Sesame Street Magazine that had Elmo in it and we read it together (though there weren’t Elmo articles, he was just pictured on the front).
I’m not really sure. But it was clear as day when he said it — John actually heard him too as he was home for the Thanksgiving week.
Maybe it was a shout out (again 🙂 to his buddy A who loves Elmo. Who knows?
