SPL meets mom’s old friend Amy and her son D
One of the highlights of our week in San Antonio was getting to meet . Amy is a friend from high school days who now lives with her family in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She was in San Antonio visiting her folks, sisters, and their families and celebrating her mom’s birthday.
It was a good reunion for me as last time I’d seen Amy, I was 6 months pregnant and presenting at the National Association of Science Teachers’ Annual Conference which was held in Dallas in 2005. She drove 1 hour each way to pick me up/return me to the conference so I could see their beautiful home and have dinner with them :-).
