While we were in San Antonio, we got the chance to catch up with Mr. and Mrs. Natarajan, who are Sam’s Auntie Suchi’s parents (Suchi is my dear friend from MIT days — she and her husband, Sai, now live in St. Paul, MN). 

They were awesome — and didn’t mind Sam’s rearranging their stuff.  And they were totally ready for him with all the breakable items put away ahead of our arrival :-).

Suchi’s mom even had his favorite fruits all ready for snack: grapes and strawberries.  Yum.

We had a great time — playing with coasters with Mr. Natarajan, moving Mrs. Natarajan’s owl statues and mints all over the place, and pushing all the buttons on the boom box.  Plus Sam got to eat as many strawberries as he could shove in his mouth — perfect!
