Visiting Monterey
Investigating the tidepool exhibit
Yesterday we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and had a blast. SPL (as usual) would’ve stayed at their wonderful water exhibit for toddlers had we not pulled him away to check out other exhibitions. This visit we got to see the penguins get their breakfast — a first. Plus SPL loved looking at the flora and fauna that can be found in the tidepools (in addition to his regular faves of the water exhibit and the aviary).
John and I were also struck by how much more sophisticated his interactions with the exhibits were (as compared to November, our last visit).
Plus I got some good photos of John w/ SPL :-).
