Bryan and Lisa’s wedding

SPL, John, and I traveled to North Carolina (via Georgia — more on that in the next post) to celebrate the wedding of SPL’s uncle and our dear friend Bryan and Lisa (now Aunt Lisa 🙂 on the Cinco de Mayo.
It was a super-rainy day but everyone was in great spirits. Lisa and Bryan were surrounded by friends and family from CA, TX, NC, FL, VA, MT (and other places too I think). It was great to get to see Bryan’s family again, meet their newest family member
, and to be able to introduce them to SPL. We also got to visit with some old friends: Sameer, Laura, and their 6 month old daughter SD, and Andrew and his wife Allison (whom we met for the first time :-).
It’s not easy being a toddler @ a wedding and reception — lots of sitting still, being quiet, and trying to figure out why mommy was crying 🙂 — not SPL’s strong suits. But he did great!
A funny "bonus" at the reception was that there were "bobo" (SPL’s name for bears) statues sprinkled through downtown Hendersonville (NC). SPL *loved* discovering each one, especially the one with the ice cream cone.
Thanks for including us in your memorable day — we love you Uncle Bryan and Aunt Lisa!
