Visiting Grandee and Nana Dana

We had a fun weekend over Cinco de Mayo with Grandee and Nana Dana. We went to a local park,
and explored an old locomotive. SPL also enjoyed the garden they had planted and found some
At Grandee’s there were many new and exciting places to discover: among other things a large pile of
outside,
to hunt for, and multiple train sets to set up/crash.
We also took a morning trip to Atlanta to visit the Children’s Museum. SPL had a blast playing with the water exhibit, playing with the
that hails from the non-specific "Northern Europe" (so you won’t go searching for it), and playing in the kitchen (no surprise on any of these).
They also were hosting a Sesame Street traveling exhibit. SPL has only recently started adding Big Bird, Oscar, Grover, and Cookie to his favorite, Elmo :-), and he enjoyed finding them throughout the exhibition. They also had computers that kids could use and Big Bird’s nest that he jumped into over and over and over again.
Monday was also trash day but they came too early — SPL was still sleeping (was still somewhat on PDT) but Grandee
very cool.
SPL also had some fun expressions that Grandee and I captured (there were an astounding 750 or so photos taken :-). And there were also some great ones of SPL with his dad (and even a few of him with his mom —
)
And we went for ice cream — twice!
Oh, and he
as well.
Thanks for a fun weekend Grandee and Nana Dana!
