First Baseball Game
We went to see a baseball game on Friday evening at Sunken Diamond (Stanford v. Univ. of the Pacific). Unfortunately Stanford is having a down year, but the ball park is still one of (if not the) best for families with young kids to watch a game. SPL took it all in from the hot dog (loved the ketchup more :-), to the soda salesman w/ a rubber chicken (his trademark), to learning who the pitcher was, to watching the kids run to chase the fly ball — and most importantly, he was fascinated by the mechanism of the green bleacher chairs (though he wasn’t heavy enough to hold one down by himself 🙂
