On Tuesday, SPL and I were working in our backyard garden when I felt a tickle on my arm.  I tend to brush things like this off  with my hand and thankfully, this time, I noticed it was a grasshopper that was causing the itch :-).  We watched it crawl on my arm and hands and then let it return to the grass and watched it hop and fly there. 

I think it was the first time SPL had seen a grasshopper up close and had time to observe it.
