Soccer game
I’m so way behind on SPL’s blog — so this post is actually for 10/6/2007 🙂
One of our favorite weekend activities is to watch SPL’s cousins (Beth’s kids aka "the trio") play soccer. This year our nieces, KAR and EVR, are playing (on the same team) along with ACR (on a boys’ team) so there are 2 opportunities for games each Saturday.
EVR and KAR’s team is the Yellowjackets this year and they are playing tough soccer. Most of their games have been huge wins: 9-2 or 10 – 1, with K and E scoring sometimes up to 3 goals each.
SPL loves all the action and at their first game (on 9/8) even got so excited, he found himself on the field and the ref had to blow a whistle (I was down at the goal taking photos of KAR :-). Thankfully Uncle Scott was close at hand to scoop up the enthusiastic SPL.
