Problem solving
On Tuesday, we were scheduled to have a playdate with our friends Helen and MR. Helen emailed me that morning to say she’d come down with a cold so we’d have to reschedule. When I told SPL this, he immediately went into problem-solving mode (and this was the first time he’d done this in this way with me) — and these are direct quotes — I can’t make this stuff up :-):
First, of course, was "I want to see MR NOW!"
Next, "MR can come over and Helen can stay home." 🙂
And then, "Diego (MR’s dad) can drive Milena over and then come back after work."
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — I love this age 🙂
