John was out at a business dinner last night (just to set the context for these quotes):

SPL: We're going to be lonely tonight.
KH:  Why?
SPL:  Daddy's not here to read stories.

SPL (as usual noticing everything and always thinking of his dad):
"We need to put Daddy's "hi bob" (iPod) back on the charger." (we'd used the speaker/charger during the day to listen to his Mandarin music via my "hi bob" (SPL's pronunciation of iPod 🙂

And my favorite:
KH (noticing that the stuffed animals were filling up SPL's bed: "Scoot over animals."
SPL: "And make room for the big guy."
