MKH, Aunt Daesman, & Uncle Rodney visit from Chicago!
This post is waaaaay overdue as our friends, Aunt Daesman (friend from MIT), Uncle Rodney (her husband), and MKH (their daughter who is exactly 1 week younger than SPL!) came to visit Friday September 25!?!? Where does the time go?!?!
They were visiting for Daesman’s brother’s wedding and were staying the weekend in Berkeley so we took the day off Friday and went to see them. We had a lot of fun roaming around the Oakland Zoo: saw the (!), the , the , . The kids loved the amphibian & reptile house and climbed on the outside. They also had lots of laughs as they up and down. The most fun was had at the amusement park section where MKH and SPL , , and drove the around and around. And all of this was after MKH had woken up @ 4 am PDT so she was running on fumes (of course her “fumes” > my normal energy level ;-).
we managed to catch up for a few minutes with back at the hotel and he didn’t disappoint — always good for some tickles and rough-housing!
