Summer has been busy and fun and I’m super-behind in my blogging.
Here is a retrospective of June 2009:
Finding the dove that built a nest on our side yard:
SPL and his dad found this in June and watched it with interest for a month or more and then, without explanation, the bird and its eggs (3) disappeared. I was the one who discovered the missing bird and eggs and there was no sign of disruption in the nest so I’m not sure what what happened….oh well….she was friendly and fun while she lasted.
SPL went to summer camp for the first time this summer too. One was at his regular : Here he is with a new found friend.
The other summer camp was immersive Mandarin (also a first). Here he is singing a on the last day of camp.
We also went to a couple of birthday parties including one at Pump It Up with (video was taken too so hopefully that will be published soon too).
And we closed out the month with a yummy brunch with Aunt Chandre, Uncle Nikhyl, and their dog Saffron.
