TX grandparents come to visit

Wow — I’m backlogged to July — yikes! So much has happened.

SPL’s TX grandparents came out for their summer visit again this year in early July. They stayed for 10 days which included SPL’s 4th birthday party.

Highlights include making cupcakes for the party with Grandma, having his cousins over (here is ACR helping us cut the castle boxes for SPL’s “Not a Box” birthday party – – awesome help!), pretending grandpa is an airplane with cousin EVR, decorating the cupcakes (note to self: better to put the decorations on the day of as the color leaches out over night), learning to play Uno with Grandpa , solving many, many puzzles (here dressed as a super hero :-), helping grandpa fix his briefcase (dressed as a worker — thanks to our neighbors great birthday gift!), building a fort with Grandma, hanging out with his uncle Scott , Aunt Beth and cousins , and of course, eating feta cheese for lunch with Grandpa

SPL also discovered he liked taking photos with my iPhone. Here’s one he took of his grandma :-).
