Spring Break #3
Depending on how you look at it, our third and final spring break week ended up either being super special or a bit of a dud as SPL got pink eye to kick off the week (Monday 4/19). Our original plan to have a "special" day on Tuesday (our plan was to go visit the new Extreme Mammals exhibit @ Cal Academy) became an equally fun for SPL jammie day @ home (he loves spending the day in his jams :-). Pink eye also kept him home on Wednesday which became a special day too as John and I tag teamed with SPL @ home (half-day work and half-day with SPL for each of us). Thursday was a "no school" day but he had a full day with Chun Hua as both of us had to work and the pink eye had gone. And Friday he was back to school (the T/W/Th outdoor preschool was the one on break last week).
And I almost forgot -- the week actually started on Saturday with having his Aunts Liz and Chandre and Uncles Jon and Nikhyl, plus baby Claire and over for lunch! That was a great way to start a vacation week.
So all in all, I think it was a good week! Now we're back to school on regular schedule until the end of the year. Hard to believe that's just a few weeks away!
