SPL's Blog

This is the real reason I love SPL's school: these progressive goals for education. If every school would focus on developing the hearts, bodies, and core humanity, as well as the minds, of our nation's young people (and not have such a single-minded focus on tests), we would all be in a much better place.

I am grateful for this (public) school's leadership and hope others will follow.

If our child develops into a self-aware human, who can manage his time well, believes he can contribute to a democratic society as a member of a global community, takes prudent risks and approaches his life with a compassionate, tolerant, problem-solving, growth mindset, and is independent minded, resilient in spirit and secure in his own skin -- I will be one happy mama :-)

And i know he will be.
