20 weeks: Nov 23-30
This was a big week for Sam. His first Thanksgiving (which we’ll post soon), celebrating his Grandma Linda’s 60th birthday, and reaching some milestones of his own. He realized he could roll himself to the side to reach a toy which was a lot of fun to watch. We’ve also been working on sitting up in "tripod" position and on Sunday (11/27) he was able to stabilize himself by putting his hands out on either side to keep himself from tipping over.
The most fun, however, was watching him on Monday morning as I put him in his exersaucer (thanks Marie!). He’d played in it before but mostly enjoyed turning around as he hadn’t figured out how to reach the toys yet. Well Monday it was like a switch was flipped – he not only got some of the toys, he was able to manipulate all of them! It was amazing to watch him.
