6 months old – -where has the time gone?

Sam’s 6th month was busy, busy, busy.  His main focus was learning to sit up which he successfully accomplished on January 2.  He also learned to roll over from his back to his tummy — the first time was actually in his crib (I found him on his tummy after putting him to bed on his back one night — what a surprise!)

He’s also now eating solids like a pro.  His favorite is carrots, which he snarfs down.  Zucchini, on the other hand, was met with squawks and complaints (as John says, "do *you* like zucchini, Kathy?"  To which I responded, of course, "no."  🙂

At his 6 month appointment, he weighed in at a solid 18 lbs 10 oz and measured 27 3/4 inches.  Dr. Zetes measured his head again and he is now squarely off the charts (thanks Korb/Mack/Howe genes!).  He survived his shots like a pro though — only crying briefly as the nurse finished the last one.

The other big event was taking his first airplane trip — and he got to meet The Korbs — fun, fun, fun.
