SPL's Blog

We took our first vacation as just the 3 of us during the week of August 24th.  It was great to get away for a couple of days – -just down to Monterey/Pacific Grove so not a huge trip but enough to separate and relax. 

Sam, John, and I had a blast at the Monterey Bay Aquarium — so much so we became family members!  We also realized how empty it is from 5-6 pm (closing time) — which was great for our curious toddler 🙂

Seeing the aquarium through the eyes of our small child made me appreciate great exhibit design even more.
