Hmph.
This month continues to be about walking and communication – not so much words still (though he uses "mama", "dada", ball, and "da" (doggie) with regularity), but identification of objects, sounds, what’s happening/what we’re observing going on around us.
The one clear expression that has come up is "hmph." Sam, especially at mealtime, uses the sound "hmph" to indicate the affirmative — as in "Do you want some milk, Sam?" "Hmph." Silence, on the other hand, is his "no."
The stages of development just keep getting more and more interesting.
