animal sounds
In case you were wondering, a sheep says "Ba." And a bee says "bzzzzth" according to Sam. The other one that John taught him last night was a pig noise which is not quite an "oink" but is pretty funny (will try to capture it on video).
Sam started saying these yesterday while we were reading this Daisy Duck book that puts the animal sounds to the song "if you’re happy and you know it" (just words on the page, no accompaniment or CD). I had the idea to point to him when it was time to make the sound, and darned if he didn’t just chime in with the right sound for sheep. And then again for bees.
We are still working on cows, mice, chickens, & dogs (though he’s close on chickens and dogs).
