Verbal Explosion — new photos!

It’s fun to watch
especially the words he picks up. So far this week, he’s added at least 13 to the list:
- broccoli (won’t eat it still but talks about it all afternoon while it waits in the pot to be steamed by Grandpa 🙂
- Camp Camp (Grandma wears a shirt with a logo from a summer camp program called "Camp CAMP" which stands for Children’s Association for Maximum Potential; she’s on the board and Beth and I used to volunteer there during the summers of high school and college)
- Drip drip drip (the drops of water falling from the icicles)
- suitcase
- cheese toast (a new creation as he loves Grandpa’s homemade whole wheat bread and he loves cheese 🙂
- perfect (grandpa says this a lot)
- good dog carl (we checked out the book "carl goes shopping" from the library so this is what he calls it)
- garage
- ice (gotta love being homebound in this "Arctic Blast" (and gotta love the titles the local news channels give the weather :-)) — the icicles are a favorite outdoor destination
- compost (a big part of life here @ Grandma and Grandpa’s — they’ve been composting for many moons; hopefully Sam will get to pick some broccoli from Grandma’s garden before we head back to CA)
- yellow
- Scott (a shout out to Sam’s uncle Scott in CA — he sees the photos and frequently Scott is the first one named (sorry Aunt Beth — but you are usually named soon thereafter 🙂
- and my favorite: empty
Gotta love the growing list of adjectives on the list too :-).
He also can say blanket now (started this before we left) — thanks
Nana — it’s keeping him warm here in TX :-). And now calls his bear
from Japan "Bobo."
