Two moments
Many memorable moments come and go but I wanted to remember these two:
- At preschool last week, John was able to clear his calendar and join us. We were outside in the playhouse when John arrived (this has been Sam’s favorite spot for the last few weeks) and when John peeked through the window at Sam, Sam literally dove out the window into John’s arms :-).
- Last night when we went to Sam’s favorite restaurant, Saravana Bhavan, we had one of those "did he just say what I think he said?" moments when Sam just surprised us — we were talking to each other and Sam was sitting there eating — John was telling me a story about Mozilla and he used the phrase "inside and outside" and Sam finished it off by saying "upside down" :-). We laughed out loud (and we didn’t think he was listening ;-). (He does love that book, BTW).
