Walking down our street
I have had this video in my head for awhile so yesterday SPL , the video camera, the red push-mobile, and I went for a walk to create this "rockumentary" of our walk down Ticonderoga (which we do almost daily). I think it’ll give you some insights into his personality too. 🙂
To my knowledge, all these points of interest are things SPL has noticed over the past few months and has "collected" — and he notices each and every one of the *every* time we walk (no wonder it takes us over an hour to walk 6 blocks :-).
And he even added a new POI on this trip (and it was a trash one — ha! :-).
I’m amazed at SPL ‘s ability to remember what’s next even though he can’t see it (boat) and the connections he makes: his experience watching Grandpa cut down the limb after the ice storm in TX to *every* limb he sees downed here :-).
The only downside of our walks is that he often doesn’t want to head back home — so the key is to not head out when there’s a hard stop that we have to make less than 1 hour away.
