My friend Amy (from high school days in San Antonio) was in CA for a family wedding this week (they live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area now).  Despite the busy wedding schedule, and its location in Aptos, she drove up for a few hours to hang out with me and SPL.  SPL remembered her from our January visit to San Antonio (she’d driven down to celebrate her mom’s birthday) and quickly invited her to play with him, see his room, and read stories (she’s mom to a son too so is well-versed in all the "boy stuff" :-).

It was an all-too-short visit but fun none-the-less :-).
