Enjoying Fall with Nana

Now that my mentor work is slowing down for the holidays, I have a bit of time to catch up on SPL’s blog posts :-).
Thanksgiving was great fun as we had a house full of grandparents. Nana came out for a week and SPL’s TX grandparents (my parents) were here for 10 days (staying with Beth).

This is one of my favorite photos as it captures an observation my good friend Rodney said upon meeting SPL last summer (when we went to Chicago). He said,
And I’ve remembered that and thought about it ever since.
