Thanksgiving 2007

Thanksgiving was spent @ Beth’s house this year (thanks for hosting all of us!) and included Nana (John’s mom, in from Nashville), my folks (in from San Antonio), John, SPL, Beth, Scott, and the trio, and me :-). [Note: this is a large gathering for the Howes].
SPL loved playing with his cousins, KAR (6), EVR (6), and ACR (8). They are in various stages of losing their teeth and are looking more and more grown up as they go through this process.
We had the usual turkey and gravy as well as pumpkin pie. SPL wasn’t too sure about the turkey but he liked the pie.
We also had a special activity as John’s mom had made a quilt in the theme of “hands” and had even stitched one of SPL’s handprints as one of the squares. She also brought markers so that each person could add their handprint to the quilt as a way to remember who was @ our Thanksgiving celebration. Thanks for your thoughtfulness and creativity Nana! SPL will treasure his quilt.
And of course, what would Thanksgiving be without a little basketball! We had 2 extra seats thanks to John and Nikhyl so ACR and grandma got to go (we have 4 seats together with Nikhyl for the season)
Happy [belated] Thanksgiving!
