He’s got his dad’s sense of humor

Today we were back into our regular routine and headed off to Mandarin Music class (after a 6 week break). We arrived a bit late and then circled the parking lot twice before deciding to park on the street (it was raining today too so we were definitely motivated to find a close spot :-).

We walked into the room at the end of a song, and SPL, not missing a beat, sidled up to our music teacher, Laoshi (teacher) Jennifer, and announced, to her and to the group: "There were no parking spaces today." The entire class laughed.

It was a good moment.
