You know you’ve had more than your share of plumbing problems when…
….your 2 1/2 year old son is incorporating "leaks" and "the plumber" and "the water heater" in his imaginary play. It also helped (hurt?) that the hotel where we were staying for the weekend in Phoenix had a pipe burst and water rained down from the 3rd floor for a good hour or more and ruined the carpet leading to our room, among other things (though our room and contents were untouched, thankfully)

In Phoenix: "I’m cleaning up the water because the pipe is leaking."
