Our first day @ soccer
In Mountain View, the town next to ours, they have a soccer class for 2-3.5 year olds so John and I decided, since SPL has shown so much interest in soccer, to try it out. Saturday (January 19) was our first class and we all went. There were 15 or so boys and girls in the group — each with a parent (or 2). They did a great job of having age appropriate activities like running to find different colored flags and practicing dribbling the ball
Funny story: when Coach Pam started introducing the dribbling to the goal exercise, she’d already given the balls to the kids, so SPL started doing exactly what she said, as she said it. She didn’t miss a beat and incorporated his demonstration into her teaching (which I really appreciated :-).
