SPL:  You clap and I sing mommy.
KH:  Ok (start clapping in rhythm).
SPL: (singing) "Old MacDonald had a farm….E I E I O…..(pause and then looks at me) Can you pick an animal you like?"
KH (laughing): What about a turkey?"
SPL (picking up right where he left off): "With a gobble gobble here, and a turkey turkey there….."

and at the end of his song, he looks at me and says "clap mommy."  and this time it was clear he meant appreciative clapping not rhythmic clapping 🙂
