SPL's Blog

SPL: "next there will be a bear at the Stanford basketball game (we’re playing Cal on Sunday and SPL is going to the game :-)."
SPL: "He (the bear) may drive a bus.  or his car to go to the basketball game.  To drive (he replaces the verb purposely — looks at me for empahsis) to the basketball game.  One bear is here to play with me.  He’s knocking at the door.  He’s knocking at the outside door — he’s knocking @ the garage door. Can you let him in? And then Charlie Brown is with the bears."

SPL then shows the bears the giants (the blue bins he’s assembled as his trash can collection by the sofa). 

SPL:  "Do you want some cakes or some muffins, bear?  You can have some cake when we finish our lunch, bear.  Do you want to play with the ball, bear?  Ok, I’ll bounce you the ball (SPL bounces the ball)."   

SPL: "We’re playing mom.  We’re playing ball (trying his specific language again), mom.  Can you be with the bear, mom?  Can you be with Charlie Brown and the bear?"

[‘after playing catch and basketball with CB and bear for a few minutes, SPL opened the door and said "nice to meet you.  See you later CB and bear."

and then "the other bear is knocking at the door" (and he opened the door) "They’re coming in.  (to the bear) Hey, what’s your name?"
