First dentist appointment

Yesterday I took S to the dentist for the first time. Dr. Nick was highly recommended and was awesome, as was the assistant, Sonya (pictured here). S was a trooper and let Dr. Nick count his teeth with “Mr. Slim” (the name he’s given the tool) and let Sonya brush without any fuss.

As a lead up to the first appointment, Dr. Nick had sent S a book with his name it introducing S to the staff, the equipment and tools he would meet on his first visit. We read it 10+ times (at S’s request) so he was well-informed 😉

Everything looked great and Dr. Nick said S was doing a great job brushing his teeth. Now we just have to work on flossing ;-/
