SPL's Blog

I’m a bit behind in SPL’s blog posts, as you might’ve guessed with my mixing real time photos (Squeaky) in with backlogged entries.  I also have some video from Austin that I was working on editing but somehow the work-in-progress got lost :-(.  Will work on it tonight I hope.

Here is my attempt to wrap up a very busy and fun February :-):

— After we returned from a fun weekend in Austin, the big event was our nanny, We were so glad to see her and SPL reconnected right away and (thanks to our friends the Janiks who shared their nanny for a week, who also speaks Mandarin), he remembered his Mandarin without a glitch :-).

— Much needed

— Fun spring break playdate with our friends , and SR (MR and SPL always have such a fun time together — even though we don’t see them as regularly as we used to, they still pick up right where they left off)

— celebrating his preschool friend NM’s birthday (pictured here with his and here with a )

— making a

— as an at school (I just happened upon him dressing up as we had our parents’ meeting that day and so were inside while the kids played outside).  SPL and hiswere having a blast!

— And we ended the month with a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium which is always a fun time.  SPL loved (and we had a wonderful teenage interpreter/docent!), , the , and For the first time he really engaged in the wave exhibit (where the waves crash over your head in an immersive glass ceiling exhibit design experience): and And our wide angle point and shoot Lumix allowed us to get this !
