Thanksgiving with The Korbs

We had a great time in Florida and South Georgia for Thanksgiving. SPL hit it off immediately with all of the Korbs (who he hadn’t seen since December 2005). It was fun to watch him make a connection with each person (John and I were amazed as he really focused on each person who was new to him :-). SPL loved all the stories of
as well as
from Aunt Susan’s dad’s collection. SPL and Drew
from Drew’s childhood (
— and Drew had a good time reminiscing and finding old stashes of toys around the house :-).
We went to St. Simon’s Island on Tuesday to see
. During lunch, SPL had fun playing “mystery picture” with
(who always comes prepared for fun).
thanks to Al :-). And here’s a cute one of
(aka Aunt Susan). After lunch, we went back to
and hung out for a bit. We saw some pictures from days gone by:
;
; cousins Blake, Harrison, and Chandler who are now 21, 18, and 17 respectively. After leaving Gigi’s we also stopped by Bampa’s office and took a photo with
We had fun @ Uncle Alan and Aunt Mary Kay’s house too:
who is 11; playing with Charlee the dog,
(and having fun trying out the new rapid fire feature of our new Canon 7D), and
(which was very small so we had to throw it back). SPL even
And Drew (John’s cousin who is in an improv group called Mission IMPROVable that tours all over the US) took us to the beach to
— fun! SPL had fun combing the beach for shells as well as teeth and
with Uncle Andy, Alan, and Bampa. He and Alan also had fun
around and
in the sand. And hey — I got another few photos taken of
too :-). And one of
and
too.
We also had a fun breakfast with Bampa and Myra. SPL
and shared some laughs. Snapped some cute ones of
too.
Many thanks to Andy and Susan for sharing their house with us and to Drew for sharing his room.
Here are the other photos. There are 140 so if you want to see the others, please email me as they are under “friends and family” protection on Flickr.
