Even though John wasn’t feeling up to snuff, he went along with Sam and my desire to continue the family tradition of cutting down our Christmas tree. This year we chose a totally different style: a Sierra Redwood. It smells wonderful and there are spaces between the branches so you can see all the ornaments and lights. The only drawback is it’s a bit prickly so be careful, or you’ll get a splinter!
