While grandma was here, we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with SPL's cousins, "the trio": ACR, KAR, and EVR. This is one of my favorite photos: John and SPL imitating the rays who were pushing their noses up on the side of the tank.
ACR had a blast

And not to be forgotten, preschool had a transportation theme this month so SPL went on not 1, not 2, not 2, but FOUR fieldtrips:
bus, CalTrain and then via car to the youth production of Lilly and the Purple Plastic Purse. Plus we celebrated St. Patrick's Day by making

And I got to go to Mandarin class in Chun Hua's absence and
Amazing! And SPL loved getting to see
. Not sure how we're going to manage when Chun Hua returns as this will definitely be hard to make up.
