And now for April -- where has the time gone!
After a sad ending to March (Sam's great-grandmother's passing away), we started off April a bit sad but determined to live as Gram would've wanted: enjoying our lives and each other as much as possible. :-)
1st week of April:
With that in mind, SPL's school started off the month with a fieldtrip to the Hiller Aviation Museum. Neither of us had been so it was a new adventure. We learned about the

2nd week of April: Spring Break!
We kicked off spring break with a trip to Children's Discovery Museum with a Young 5s friend and one of his buddies. They tried their hands at

3rd week of April:
The week started off with a special treat: a visit from

(NGS was born in February and this was our first time meeting her). Her parents were very relaxed and let SPL hold her. SPL had many questions and NGS seemed to enjoy the attention from the "big kid."
Monday came and we were back to school -- happy to see our friends.Â

Tuesday we were off to Russian Ridge for another adventure with our Adventure Day friends (many of whom also were in our MWF PM class as well). Note: Russian Ridge is up at the top of some very twisty, turny roads so SPL and I took the long way (40 miles one way!) to avoid what happened last time (SPL having to get out of the car 4 times b/c he was car sick :-(). We

SPL, who is not an actor, was happily an audience member (there were 4 parts: parts III and

were also a highlight of this week. SPL had a blast (as did his mom who got to watch all the kids flying their kits while seated in the field taking photos).
We ended the week with

SPL

, and having a

of our own in our new house. The Easter Bunny brought SPL

and it's opened the flood gates to Lego Star Wars (not bad - -just a major milestone). SPL *loves* them. And of course, it's always fun to have

so we did that to celebrate Easter Sunday.
We also passed 2 other milestones this week: SPL lost his first tooth @ Huddart Park (swallowed it) and attended his
