Star of the Week: March 5-9, 2012

This week was SPL's turn to be "Star of the Week." So last weekend he brought home the big star bag filled with instructions, a blank poster, and a box wrapped in brown paper, and some blocks (the toy from school that he chose to take home to play with for the week). With the blocks he

Being the star means each day there is something else about you that you get to share:
Monday: SPL shared the poster above that he had created over the weekend. It included many "favorites" including color and animal. We've been watching the movie Tarzan lately so I think that's why the gorilla got chosen as his favorite animal. Love that he chose a Mandarin book as his favorite book (it's about magic and is a graphic novel).
Tuesday: They read part of his book out loud to the class.
Wednesday: Guessing Jar. SPL had counted out 75 Legos and put them in the guessing jar for his classmates to guess. The closest guess was his buddy I who guess 55.
Thursday: The class interviews him. I was a bit concerned about this part as SPL doesn't like to be in the spotlight and I gave a heads up to his teacher, but thankfully everything went smoothly. He said they asked him things like his favorite food :-)
Friday: SPL had chosen a "mystery object" to put in the brown box for his classmates to guess. See if you can guess what the mystery object was with
