We had a great time celebrating SPL’s actual birthday — this year the 13th was even on a Friday!

SPL was surrounded by grandparents: Grandma and Grandpa from Texas and Grandee and Nana Dana from Georgia.  For the actual day, we traveled to Monterey to visit the Aquarium (one of our very favorite things to do).  Even though no one but John and SPL made the video (not sure how this happened), Grandee and Nana Dana were also with us for the trip (and appear in many of the still photo).
