Labor Day 2007 — SPL's Blog

Aunt Beth, Uncle Scott and their crew invited us to spend yesterday (Labor Day) morning in Santa Cruz at Natural Bridges with them. SPL had never been in the Pacific Ocean and he had a great time jumping in the waves with Aunt Beth , digging in the sand with KAR, and watching his cousins and Uncle Scott frolic in the waves.

I was very impressed with the beach lifeguards, one of whom came over and spoke to us about the strong surf and the importance of staying close to our kids, even if they can swim.

We had a great time watching the pelicans too — that arched rock was covered with them and they flew in formation and dived for fish.

Great Labor Day fun!
