SPL's Blog

SPL had a fun week -- first full week of school/activities since he got sick, so we were especially happy about that.  I am amazed by his level of story telling, especially after his outdoor preschool.  He always comes home with 3 or 4 stories from each day. This week they tracked a peacock (his teacher later told me that SPL heard the peacock at a distance and was the first to recognize its call), one of the other students caught a frog, and SPL fell in the stream as he was trying to cross. At play-based preschool, they studied magnetism, made valentine's waffles, and shared their valentine's cards with their friends.  I even got (thanks to an understanding mommy friend -- she's the photographer in her family too :-).
