SPL celebrated his 6th birthday on Sunday with a bunch of friends @ Pump It Up (giant inflatables everywhere!). Today, his actual birthday, he went to Lego camp with some of his buddies and then we were supposed to go to The Tech Museum with his cousins and grandmother but our car battery conked out unexpectedly. :-/ So we (with the help of my 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and my mom) spent the afternoon at the car dealership getting a new battery -- nothing says happy birthday like killing time with 4 kids in a car dealership waiting room. And while they did have some video game controllers available, they were all not working! Rats.
But the kids were awesome and thankfully I had some snacks stowed away in my car so that helped.
